How cool is this photo! This is me talking to famed Egyptologist / archaeologist Dr Otto Schaden - finder of KV 63 - the first tomb to be discovered in the Valley of the Kings in nearly 100 years! Prior to this, the last tomb found was King Tutankhamen's which was found in 1922 by Howard Carter - that tomb was called KV62.

At the drop of a hat, this he here man can organise you a camel, a mule, a bicycle, a motor boat, a motorbike, a sailing boat and to top it all, even a slap up meal and bed for the night. We opted for the motorbike - the ultimate way to explore Luxor and it's surrounds. Ladies and Gentleman... I give you Abdul - The best Egyptian guide in the world.

No greater joy can be had, than arriving in Luxor, scanning the main street, looking for Adul who is busy plying his trade, searching for tourists to ferry across the Nile. Then we jump out, surprising him with out presence. He almost squeezes us to death.

With Captain Abdul of the boat "Omar Shariff". This is a 5-star, air-conditioned luxory-liner of a motorboat. You can cross the Nile en-route to the West Bank where all the temples and tombs can be found.

With photographer and partner DD. It didn't take long before these young Egyptian children had negotiated and bartered every last buck out of us. Realising we were beaten we opted for a photograph with our newly aquired purchases.

Here's a photo of Tee and Tim's original manuscipt (boy, I'm glad that's over!) 6 years of writing and recording.

My school report - I was big here, 4 years and 9 months (nearly 5). This is what it says:

signed Mrs Mead.

Here are two of the most influential books I have ever read. Enid Blyton's The Boy Next Door. I think Mrs Knott read this to the class when I was in standard one - it brought the house down. The other book, Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich - I must have read this book a thousand times. Very instrumental in my writing The Adventures of Tee, Timothy and Tiger.
